Rampo Rampó (d.825) was the second count of Barcelona from 820 until his death. After the mandatory deposition of Bera, the Emperor Louis the Pious considered it prudent to entrust Bera's honours (his counties) to a nobleman far from the factional struggle that had developed in Gothia. He chose the Frank Rampó, who had already faithfully served his father Charlemagne. He had been charged to communicate the death of Charlemagne to Louis, then king of Aquitaine, in Doue, Anjou, at the beginning of 814.
