A Night at the Roxbury is a comedy film made in 1998. It stars Will Ferrell, Chris Kattan, and Molly Shannon from the television program Saturday Night Live, and the plot of the film is based on a short comedy sketch from the show featuring Kattan and Ferrell. The film features Kattan and Ferrell reprising their characters, however the SNL sketch usually featured cameos of a third brother by such stars as Jim Carrey and Sylvester Stallone. Six such cameos were made during the life of the sketch, but the concept of the third character was dropped during filming. Chazz Palminteri, Dan Hedaya, Loni Anderson, Elisa Donovan, Gigi Rice, and Colin Quinn co-star. Ex-SNLer Mark McKinney has a cameo.
