U.S. Marshals U.S. Marshals was a 1998 action thriller sequel to The Fugitive. The film starred Tommy Lee Jones as Deputy US Marshal Sam Gerard, who is on a JPATS plane carrying prisoners when it crashes in southern Indiana. He helps several of the plane's crew and prisoners escape the crash, one of whom is Mark Sheridan (Wesley Snipes). Sheridan later escapes and contacts his girlfriend Marie Bineaux (Irène Jacob). Gerard pursues him all the way to New York City. During the pursuit, Diplomatic Security Service Special Agent John Royce (Robert Downey Jr) is assigned to help capture Sheridan. Joe Pantoliano, Daniel Roebuck, and Tom Wood all reprise their roles from The Fugitive as Gerard's marshals.
