Auto Focus

A feature film adaptation of Robert Graysmith's book, Auto Focus is the story of actor Bob Crane, an affable radio show host who later found success on Hogan's Heroes, which he is best known for. But the movie delves deeper into Crane's personal life, particularly on his relationship with John Henry Carpenter, a video technician. With Carpenter, Crane had developed a hobby for sexual activity and documented his exploits along with Carpenter on video and photography equipment. Auto Focus is about Crane's newfound success on Hogan's Heroes right to his murder which to this day, remains unsolved.
