Jason X is a science fiction and slasher film. It was released on April 26, 2002 in the Friday the 13th film series starring Kane Hodder as the mass murderer Jason Voorhees. The film made $13.1 million with a $13.5 million budget ^[1]. Fan reaction has been split: many felt the concept of "Jason in Space" was laughable among many things; others enjoyed it, believing that the film was not meant to be taken seriously, and that it epitomized the "dumb fun" of the series.
