After the Thin Man After the Thin Man was the 1936 sequel to the film The Thin Man. It starred William Powell and Myrna Loy as Nick and Nora Charles, and James Stewart. This time the murder victim and suspects are members of Nora's high-society family; at the end, Nora tells Nick something he hasn't detected yet: In this film, Nora Charles reveals that they're going to have a baby.
