Forrest Gump
Forrest Gump is the name of the lead character of the 1985 novel Forrest Gump by Winston Groom, and of the 1994 Paramount Pictures film based on the novel. The film was a huge commercial success earning $677 million worldwide during its theatrical run (the top grossing film in North America released that year), although Paramount, in line with Hollywood accounting, claimed it was a commercial failure, and did not pay Groom his share of the profits. As such, Groom has refused to allow the novel's sequel, Gump and Co., to be filmed, stating that he could not in good conscience sell the rights to film the sequel to a failure. The film garnered a total of 13 Academy Award nominations, of which it won 6, including Best Picture and Best Director.

Forrest Gump
:03:17 Tere. Minu nimi on
Forrest, Forrest Gump.
:03:27 Shokolaadi soovite?
:03:32 Võin neid süüa miljoneid
ja pool seda karpi.
:03:36 Mu ema ütles alati,
:03:38 et elu on nagu
karbitäis shokolaadi.
:03:43 Iial ei või teada,
mis sa sellest leiad.
:03:53 Need on kindlasti
mugavad jalatsid.
:03:56 Nendega võib kindlasti päev otsa
ringi käija,
:04:00 ilma et jalad valutaksid.
:04:04 Oleks mul ka sellised.
:04:08 Mu jalad valutavad.
:04:10 Ema ütles alati,
et jalanõude järgi
:04:12 võib kohutavalt palju
inimese kohta teada saada.
:04:16 Kuhu nad lähevad,
:04:18 kus nad olnud on.
:04:27 Olen kandnud paljusid jalanõusid.
:04:31 Kui ma kõvasti meenutaksin,
suudaksin kindlasti oma
:04:34 esimesi jalanõusid meelde tuletada.
:04:39 Ema ütles,
et need viivad mind igale poole.
:04:42 Ta ütles,
et need olid minu võlusaapad.
:04:46 Hea küll, Forrest,
tee nüüd silmad lahti.
:04:56 Proovime kõndida.
