:00:35 Troja
:00:42 For 3200 år siden.
:00:47 Efter århundreder med krigsførelse,
måtte Agamemnon. Kongen af Mycenae.
:00:51 give afkald på sine alliancer.
:00:56 Kun Thessaly stod ubesejret.
:01:01 Agamemnons bror Menulaus.
Kongen af Sparta,
:01:04 var træt af stridigheder.
:01:05 Han søger freden med Troja.
:01:07 Den stærkeste rival til herredømmet
af den græske nation.
:01:13 Achilles, der anses for at være
den største kriger, nogensinde.
:01:16 Slås for den græske hær.
:01:18 Men hans foragt mod
Agamemnons styre.
:01:20 truer med at ødelægge
den spinkle alliance.
:01:30 Mennesket frygter, ikke at blive
husket af des efterkommere.
:01:35 Og derfor spørger vi os selv:
:01:38 Vil det vi udretter,
blive husket gennem tiderne.
:01:42 Vil fremmede høre om vore navne?
:01:44 Længe efter vi er borte?
:01:47 Og vil de undre sig over,
hvem vi var?
:01:49 Hvor tappert vi kæmpede?
:01:52 hvor frygtløst vi elskede?
